Evening Edition: Top Officials From United States And China To Meet In Alaska

Both United States Secretary of State Antony Blinken and the White House National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan will meet with top Chinese officials next week in Alaska in the first meeting between the two countries since President Biden took office. The United States State Department issued a statement earlier this week saying there will be a wide range of topics discussed including Hong Kong, Taiwan and their treatment of the Uyghur minority.
