Health and Human Services Secretary Alex Azar, speaking to the Heritage Foundation Thursday, said that it was Taiwan that gave us the first indication there was new, worrisome disease emerging from China. Taiwan is not a member of the WHO and is sometimes a point of contention between the United States and China.
