The Democratic National Convention kicked off virtually Monday night as Democrats try to build unity and enthusiasm for their ticket. Last night's lineup included former First Lady Michelle Obama, Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT), former Ohio Governor John Kasich (R-OH) and more. FOX News Radio's National Correspondent Jared Halpern and FOX News Radio Political Analyst Josh Kraushaar recap the first night with Senior Advisor and Communications Director for the DNC Xochitl Hinojosa. It's a turbulent time. While many cities continue to cope with riots and looting, many have also seen a significant spike in murders and shootings. The unrest has more people arming themselves and Americans have already bought more guns this year than in all of 2019. John Lott President of the Crime Prevention Research Center and Kris Brown President of Brady United discuss this year's surge in gun sales and what a Biden presidency would mean for gun control. Plus, commentary by Kat Timpf, co-host of the "Tyrus and Timpf" podcast.
