The Premier of the British Virgin Islands has attempted to assert diplomatic immunity to keep himself from looking at a serious jail sentence if convicted in the United States. While it is a decent attempt on his behalf to try to avoid responsibility, there is precedent already set for going after people in positions such as his. Just ask Manuel Noriega.
