The Mexican President Has Doubled The Amount Of Troops In The Streets (8/21/22)
AMLO is learning very quickly that winning an election is the easy part. It's the governance where things get sticky. During the campaign and on the trail, he announced that he would remove the military from the streets and instead use a national guard-based approach to combat the cartels and the violence. That has not happened and instead of removing the military from the street it has ballooned to double the amount than before.
