The situation in Burkina Faso is grim. From Jihadists to famine, the region is facing a series of challenges that the leaders are not able to even begin to grapple with. Add the lingering effects of the Covid pandemic and the grinding war in Ukraine and you have all of the elements of an absolute disaster on the horizon in yet another nation.
