Being a journalist in Mexico comes with all kinds of dangers. Namely, the cartels. The nature of the beast for journalists is to ask questions and pry where they are not wanted. Most of the time there are no consequences for journalists simply doing their jobs, but in Mexico and Tijuana specifically as far as this story goes, things are much different.
