The Curious Case Of Cartel Leader Edgar Valdez-Villareal AKA La Barbie (1/22/23)
The man who is said to be responsible for vicious acts of torture and the importation of untold amounts of drugs into America is now set to work with the American government and be a witness at the trial of the embattled Genaro Garcia Luna, the former top cop of Mexico. There was some confusion about where La Barbie was after he was no longer listed in the federal record, but as the trial of Garcia Luna approaches, it seems more likely that Edgard Valdez-Villareal will be taking the stand.
The question is...what did the United States government promise him in return for his testimony?
