The Battle For Afghanistan: The Insurgency Begins (5/16/22)
We have talked quite a bit about the insurgency that is on the way in Afghanistan and it looks like the first embers of it have begun to burn. The Taliban made an incursion into the Panjshir valley to arrest a cleric and for their troubles, they were ambushed with 15 Taliban fighters getting killed in the skirmish. With tensions already sky high, this incident is sure to lead to even more violence and death.
