The battle for control in Afghanistan is long from decided. That was plain from the moment the west evacuated after 20 years of occupation. The Taliban, who easily took control of the nation now had a monumental task ahead of them. They needed to govern.
We take a look at the campaign by the Taliban and their comrades in arms Al Qaeda to bring the Panjshir valley under their control.
Meanwhile, the west continues to try to sell the world a repackaged version of the same old Taliban.
