Rival Factions Take To The Streets Of Baghdad As Political Tensions Increase (8/30/22)
The country of Iraq is on edge as rival political factions continue to battle it out for supremacy with the latest skirmish causing 10 deaths and over 400 people wounded. Muqtada Al Sadr, one of the most influential clerics in Iraq has called on his supporters to go home and not partake in anymore violence and so far they seem to have heeded his call, but things are still tense and can change at a moments notice.
