How Fentanyl Is Becoming The Main Source Of Income For Mexico's Cartels (12/9/22)

Published: Dec. 9, 2022, 10 p.m.

The United States has notoriously been the worlds largest consumer of cocaine, year in and year out. However, Europe is catching up at a quick pace. That's because not only have the exports to Europe increased from Mexico and South America, but also because of America's drug addicts and their desire for the deadly drug.

The process of getting those drugs to the American market is full of logistical speedbumps for the cartels, but even with these issues of acquiring precursor chemicals for the production of synthetic drugs, it's well worth the price of admission.

In this episode, we see how those cartels are looking to cut out the middle man, and start making those precursor chemicals in Mexico, accelerating not only how much product they can bring to market, but also accelerating the pain and misery of millions of Americans addicted to drugs and their families that suffer along with them.
