Girls In Afghanistan Attend Secret Schools To Continue Their Education (7/16/22)
The situation for girls in school in Afghanistan has been a major issue since the Taliban swept back into control. With edict after edict, girls and women have seen what rights they did have, quickly erode. However, some are fighting back and now women have set up secret schools in apartments or houses where girls can go to continue to get their education.
