Ghislaine Maxwell's Bid For A New Trial Is Denied (4/1/22)
After months of wondering if Ghislaine Maxwell would be granted a new trial on the basis of juror malfeasance the way is now over. Judge Nathan ruled today that Maxwell did not have the right to a new trial and that the evidence she presented did not meet the burden of proof needed to throw out her indictment and give her a fresh trial. So now, we move on to the sentencing phase.
