Danelo Calvacante's Mother Gives An Interview From Brazil About Her Fugitive Son (9/13/23)
The mother of the escaped fugitive, Danelo Calvacante gave an interview to the New York Times where she detailed her sons upbringing, spotlighting the fact that he grew up in poverty and instability. The authorities also announced that they are using a message from his mother to broadcast into the woods in hopes that he will hear it and turn himself in.
The manhunt has now entered its second week, with the Houdini Hobbit tactfully ducking and dodging his way through the county with the police on his heels, but still a step behind thus far.
