Brittney Griner Update (4/23/22)
Over two months now since WNBA star Brittney Griner has been in the custody of the Russian government and we still have seen no movement in her case. The United States has been very quiet about the situation and reports state that things are being done behind the scenes to try and secure her release. However, that prospect looks to be slim considering the geopolitical situation between the United States and Russia. Will Brittney Griner be released? Or will she be sentenced and forced to serve a jail term in Russia?
