Brittney Griner Is Now Considered Wrongfully Detained By Russia (5/3/22)
Brittney Griner has been the custody of the Russian government for 75 days now. Up until this point, the United States seemed to be content to let the situation play out. Not anymore. Finally, after nearly three months, Brittney Griner is declared to be unlawfully detained. The designation is significant because it opens up new avenues to begin to try to secure her release. The question is...how do you get the Russians to play ball?
