An Earthquake Kills Roughly A Thousand People In Afghanistan (6/22/22)
As if Afghanistan needed any other issues considering what is going on in the country, now they have an earthquake to deal with as well. Close to a thousand people have already been declared dead and that number is sure to climb as people are reportedly still trapped under rubble and debris. With the infrastructure broken in the country and the Taliban barely able to even meet the most basic needs of some of the people, the hope of rescuing those still trapped seems bleak.
