A Mexican Mother Searching For Her Missing Son Is Murdered While Searching (9/1/22)

There are over 100k missing people in Mexico and since the authorities are either not capable or unwilling to find them, the burden oftentimes falls on the family members to search for answers. Even that comes with a cost in Mexico, however.

Rosario Rodríguez Barraza who was searching for answers about what happened to her son, was abducted and murdered near her home. So far, the police have no suspects and say they are continuing to investigate.
