For decades the only way most Americans could wager on sports was through a bookie. Now a days, sports wagering is legally in the majority of states and many, many Americans wager, legally on their favorite game. Yet, not long ago that same behavior could have meant jail time for the gambler and most certainly for the bookie. Somehow, John Murges avoided that fate and is now telling his story.
