A Look Back: How The FBI Got Caught Up In An Alleged Gold Heist
A father and son treasure hunting duo is claiming that the FBI pulled one over on them after they led the FBI to what they said was a cache of lost gold from the civil war. According to the pair and their lawyer, the FBI kept them away from the site and then like thieves in the night excavated the gold and made off with it, cutting their would be partners out.
Of course the FBI has denied these allegations and claim that they did not recover anything at the site, gold or otherwise.
