A Look Back: Ghislaine Maxwell Petitions The Judge For A Light Sentence
Ghislaine Maxwell and her legal team have petitioned the judge ahead of her sentencing and asked for a light sentence citing many things that have happened to Maxwell in her life and since her arrest. One of those situations, according to Maxwell, is that she was threatened by another inmate who says that she is/was going to kill Maxwell in her sleep.
With this as ammunition and the assertion that Maxwell was abused by her father as a child, the defense stumbles into sentencing with little else to go on as Maxwell faces a possible 55 years behind bars.
