On the eve of the Tour de France Fran Millar was appointed chief executive at Team Ineos. Millar first got involved in cycling through her brother, David, who she managed before he served a two year doping ban in 2004. She helped set up Team Sky in 2010 and has been in various senior roles since then, through all the Tour wins but also the lurid headlines about TUEs and Jiffy bags.
