COVID-19’s impact in the Yukon and N.W.T.

Canada’s North was largely spared from the first wave of COVID-19, but as cases rise there are difficult decisions that need to be made in order to keep the virus at bay. In Yukon, we talk to Dana Tizya-Tramm, chief of the Vuntut Gwitchin First Nation, about the challenges facing his community; and Chief Medical Officer of Health Dr. Brendan Hanley. And in the Northwest Territories, we talk to Allice Legat, who lives in Yellowknife and travels to Alberta to get treatment for lung cancer; and Chief Public Health Officer Dr. Kami Kandola.
