Gun Violence in Brooklyn

In recent weeks, New York City has seen a spike in gun violence. As of Monday, July 13th, there were 648 shootings across the city, up from 399 last year. Robert Cornegy, New York City Council Member for the 36th District, representing Bedford-Stuyvesant and northern Crown Heights in Brooklyn, talks about the recent increase in shootings, including one in Bed-Stuy that took the life of a 1-year-old boy.
