A Doctor's Advice: Don't Avoid the Hospital if You Need Emergency Care

As COVID-19 patients crowd into hospitals, doctors are reporting very few patients are coming in for the usual crises - heart attacks, strokes and other emergencies. Dr. Harlan Krumholzprofessor of medicine at Yale and director of the Yale New Haven Hospital Center for Outcomes Research and Evaluation says hospitals are ready to treat people for non-COVID emergencies, and urges patients to still seek medical care when they need it.
