b"On today's 'BradCast':\\xa0 Fearsome Hurricane Florence barreling toward the U.S. Eastern seaboard, fueled by record warm waters, and currently projected to slam the Carolinas with, potentially, as much as four feet of rain if the storm stalls near the coast. Simultaneously, Hawaii is facing down Hurricane Olivia this week, just two weeks after Hurricane Lane dumped record rainfall on the islands, becoming the second worst rainfall event in recorded U.S. history (second only to Hurricane Harvey in Houston just last year). In California, Gov. Jerry Brown took aim at climate change in signing SB-100, a landmark measure to require the state to transition to 100 percent carbon-free electricity by 2045, and signed an executive order setting the state on the path to 100% carbon-neutral energy for the entire state, including cars, no later than 2045, as well.
