b"On today's 'BrardCast':\\xa0 It's been a very bad week for disgraced former President Donald Trump. The FBI executed a court-approved search warrant at Mar-a-Lago, Trump's Florida home, while he was in New York to give a sworn deposition in the New York Attorney General's probe into allegations of bank, tax and insurance fraud. Then an appeals court panel ruled that Congress must be given Trump's tax returns, part of a long-running legal battle. Most of what we know about the FBI search warrant comes from anonymous sources, either Trump or likely people close to him. We break down what is actually known and unknown about what happened, and what kind of trouble Trump could potentially be in, based on the few known facts. Much of the reporting suggests that the warrant may be related to Trump's absconding with at least 15 boxes of classified materials from the White House after leaving office. Rightwing media called the court-approved search warrant 'third world', while elected Republicans vowed to exact revenge on the Justice Department, even though the search warrant was likely approved by Trump-appointed FBI Director Christopher Wray. Trump could easily prove his obviously false lies about the FBI's search by simply releasing the warrant. Also today: Voters headed to the polls for 2022 midterm primaries in Connecticut, Minnesota, Vermont and Wisconsin. In very tight races in the Arizona primary held last week, Trump-endorsed 2020 election deniers won the Republican Party's nominations for all top state offices, an ominous sign for the 2024 Presidential election if they win. Michigan's GOP Attorney General nominee, Matt DePerno, is implicated in an unlawful, serious security breach of the state's voting machines. Plus Desi Doyen has our latest 'Green News Report.'"
