b"On today's 'BradCast':\\xa0 We have two Americas today. One America is led by President Joe Biden, who triumphantly signed into law the largest climate investment in U.S. history, passed without a single Republican vote. The other America is calling for violence, mayhem and murder of American law enforcement officials, led there by disgraced former President Donald Trump. Biden signed the landmark Inflation Reduction Act to begin to tackle climate change; reduce healthcare and prescription drug costs for seniors; allow Medicare to negotiate drug prices; establish a modest minimum tax on the biggest corporations; and pay down the deficit. The other America is showing its true colors this week with a surge in violent rightwing threats, triggered by Trump's incendiary rhetoric about the court-approved FBI search of his Florida residence to retrieve classified documents he stole from the White House. Rightwing media sites like Fox 'News' have promoted such inflammatory rhetoric. The violent threats have inspired several violent incidents, prompting DHS/FBI to issue a new threat warning. STEPHANIE FOGGETT, extremism researcher at The Soufan Center, explains why law enforcement agencies say that far-right and domestic extremism is 'the greatest threat that America is facing today,' and how far-right extremists use online sites to spread their ideology of hate, piggybacking on current events, to manipulate and recruit new followers. Foggett offers historical context for the rise in far-right extremism, and a number of solutions to address the growing threat to democracy. Plus Desi Doyen has our latest 'Green News Report.'"
