'BradCast' 8/13/2020 (Trump Admits to Crippling U.S. Postal Service to Try and Steal the Election)

b"On today's 'BradCast':\\xa0 At least now Donald Trump has effectively admitted that he's trying to steal the 2020 election, and he's doing it plain sight.\\xa0 Trump announced he is rejecting the request from his own appointees on the GOP-majority Postal Board of Governors for $25 billion to save the U.S Postal Service from collapse, and a second request of $3.5 billion from the nation's elections officials to bolster election security. Trump said multiple times over the last 48 hours that he believes he will stop voters from safely casting a mail-in ballot by withholding that funding, preventing USPS from efficiently processing the expected explosion of Vote-by-Mail during this November's election, necessitated by his own failed coronavirus response. New reporting confirms that huge postal sorting machines have been removed from many locations, without explanation. Trump/GOP megadonor, Louis DeJoy, the new Postmaster General, has issued mandates slowing down mail delivery, and removed or reassigned 23 top USPSP officials. Trump also rejected any new economic relief funding to help the nearly 30 million now unemployed Americans, cash-strapped states and cities, hospitals, or schools. Trump's scheme is to monkey-wrench the machinery of the election, declare himself the winner on Election Night, and attack tallying of slower-to-count absentee ballots (which must be manually authenticated one-by-one) as 'fraudulent.'\\xa0 Attempts to count all lawfully cast ballots will then be characterized as an attempt by Democrats to steal the election. That's the plan and it's happening right before your eyes, unless the public rises up to stop it. Also today: a bit of good voting rights news from the U.S. Supreme Court.
