'BradCast' 8/1/2023 (Trump indicted for attempts to steal 2020 Presidential election)
b"On today's 'BradCast':\\xa0 Late-breaking news -- a federal grand jury in D.C. has handed up a four-count federal indictment of disgraced former President Donald J. Trump in Special Counsel Jack Smith's investigation into Trump's multiple attempts to steal the 2020 election that he lost. Trump was charged with four federal felony counts: Conspiracy to defraud the United States; Conspiracy to obstruct an official proceeding; Obstruction of, and attempt to obstruct, an official proceeding; and Conspiracy against rights [specifically, the right to vote and to have one's vote counted]. Six alleged co-conspirators were not named and appear to be uncharged at this time, but were briefly described in the indictment, and appear to be Trump attorneys Rudy Giuliani, John Eastman, Sidney Powell, and Kenneth Chesebro; DOJ Asst. Attorney General Jeffrey Clark; and an unidentified 'political consultant'. The indictment notes that Trump not only lied about the election, but knew that he was lying, in his multi-pronged scheme to steal the 2020 election. Also today:\\xa0 New Jersey Lt. Gov.
