On Tuesday, voters head to primaries Ohio, Arizona, Kansas, Michigan, Missouri and Washington State. On Capitol Hill, Democrats are pushing to pass the new Inflation Reduction Act under budget reconciliation rules as quickly as possible with all 50 Democratic senators, but some are out with COVID, and obstructionist Sen. To gain Manchin's vote, the bill supports expansion of fossil fuel development on the public's lands, but in exchange increases royalty rates and establishes methane pollution fees.
