b"On today's 'BradCast':\\xa0 It was another revelation-packed public hearing on Day 7 for the bipartisan U.S. House Select Committee investigating Donald Trump's January 6th insurrection at the U.S. Capitol and his multiple failed attempts to steal the 2020 Presidential Election.\\xa0 HEATHER DIGBY PARTON of Salon and Hullaballoo, and political scientist DAVID FARIS of Roosevelt University offer deep analysis and insights. The hearing revealed more evidence that Trump knew and was personally involved in every aspect of the coup plot, he knew there was no fraud in the 2020 election, he knew that his multi-pronged efforts to steal the election were unlawful, and he was warned that his calls to supporters to come to D.C. and directing them to march to the Capitol would result in violence by armed extremist groups. But he pushed for it anyway. The hearing connected the dots between key dates and people, including an hours-long, 'unhinged' White House meeting between Trump and his top cronies, immediately followed by Trump's tweet that 'electrified' his supporters to come to D.C. on January 6, along with copious evidence of coordination between violent rightwing extremist groups in the days before the insurrection. One witness was a Trump supporter whose life has been destroyed after believing Trump's lies. Another witness was Jason Van Tatenhove, former member of the Oath Keepers, who spoke to the militia group's violent plans for the country, and delivered a chilling warning of what will happen if Trump is re-elected. Committee co-chair Rep. Liz Cheney also previewed evidence of witness tampering and intimidation by Trump."
