Corrupt Republican state lawmakers in Florida, after gutting a voter-approved state constitutional amendment to restore voting rights to most former felons, have now gutted the entire statewide ballot initiative process to make it nearly impossible for citizen initiatives to qualify for the ballot at all, which the Tampa Bay Times says "will solidify Republican control by eliminating one of the last threats to their power: the ballot box."
