b"On today's 'BradCast': It's official. A federal jury found the disgraced former president liable for the sexual assault and defamation of magazine columnist E. Jean Carroll, awarding her $5 million in damages. Nations around the world are warning their citizens to exercise caution when visiting the United States due to the epidemic of gun violence by domestic terrorists, aided by the Republican Party's refusal to protect public safety. Texas GOP Gov. Greg Abbott pretends the solution to the surge in U.S. gun massacres is 'mental health,' but he slashed funding for mental health services and vastly expanded access to guns, including for the mentally ill. The shooter who murdered eight people, including children, at a mall in Allen, Texas, reportedly was a white supremacist neo-Nazi who echoed Republican politicians' incendiary rhetoric. It's not a matter of partisanship, but a matter of facts and evidence:\\xa0 the Republican Party has now clearly become the Party of Terrorism and Mass Murder. Republicans are also working hard to be the Party of Economic Terror, holding the U.S./global economy hostage by refusing to raise the nation's debt ceiling, in order to extort massive budget cuts they would otherwise be unable to pass. If Republicans 'shoot the hostage' this time around, the Biden Administration is reportedly considering a number of responses to save the economy, including invoking the 14th Amendment of the Constitution, which prohibits default. As pollster Simon Rosenberg observed, 'If there was a terror org operating inside the US, how would it look any different then what we're seeing' from today's Republican Party? Good question."
