Like the mass shooting at a grocery store in Buffalo, NY ten days ago, armed security officers were unable to stop the gunman. The Uvalde shooter was able to purchase weapons of war and 400 rounds of ammo immediately after turning 18 this month, thanks to Texas Republicans, from Gov. Abbott to the state legislature to the Attorney General's office, who made it all not just possible, but easy. But America wasn't always this way.
