We last spoke on-air with Eric on January 19, when he discussed the one-year anniversary of President Biden's inauguration and the disturbing contrast in the way the corporate media covers Biden's presidency, versus the guy in office before him. News of his passing triggered a flood of warm thoughts in his memory on social media, including from prominent folks like Hillary Clinton and Jon Stewart. Boehlert's legacy speaks for itself -- at Salon, Media Matters, Daily Kos and his latest venture, his\\xa0 Press Run newsletter, 'an unfiltered, passionate, and proudly progressive critique of the political press in the age of Trump', and, of course, in his many commentaries in the media. Eric was an indefatigable champion for the truth and never stopped holding feet to fire.
