b"On today's 'BradCast':\\xa0 President Biden announced all Americans 16 and older will be eligible for COVID-19 shots by April 19th, in the race to get as many people vaccinated as possible as new, deadlier variants spread across the country and infection rates spike due to states prematurely relaxing COVID restrictions. Senate Democrats may have a new tool to circumvent Republican obstruction after the Senate Parliamentarian reportedly approved the use of an arcane provision in the Budget Act to allow additional 'revisions' of budget reconciliation packages that can bypass the Senate filibuster with a simple majority vote - - but there are some caveats. The Republican Party has abandoned reality and their pretense of long-held governing 'values' of 'small government' as Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, a champion of unlimited corporate money in politics, pretended to be outraged by major corporations speaking out against new voter suppression laws adopted by Georgia's Republican-controlled state legislature. Republicans in state legislatures across the country are still snuggling up close to huge corporate interests and the fossil fuel industry, adopting legislation at the state level making it illegal for local towns and cities to set their own building codes and ban the use of polluting fossil fuels in new construction. Also today: Civil rights champion Rep. Alcee Hastings (D-FL) passed away, further narrowing the Democrats' slim majority in the US House. Plus Desi Doyen has our latest 'Green\\xa0 News Report.'"
