b"On today's 'BradCast':\\xa0 The European Union and democracy-lovers everywhere are breathing a sigh of relief after center-right French President Emmanuel Macron defeated far-right extremist Marine Le Pen to win re-election. In New York, a judge has found Donald Trump and his Trump Organization in contempt of court, levying a $10,000 per day fine until he produces court-ordered documents in a state civil probe of alleged bank, tax and insurance fraud. On Friday, Georgia's far-right Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene became the first sitting member of Congress to answer questions under oath about involvement in the January 6th, 2021 insurrection at the U.S. Capitol. A group of Georgia voters are challenging Greene's eligibility to hold federal office under Section 3 of the 14th Amendment, which bars from office anyone who has engaged in insurrection or rebellion, or given aid or comfort thereof, after taking an oath to uphold the Constitution.\\xa0 Constitutional law expert JOHN BONIFAZ, Co-founder and President of Free Speech for People (FSFP), the organization representing voters challenging Greene, explains what happened in the courtroom as Greene prevaricated and attempted to lie about her public statements and actions, and what happens next. Bonifaz also explains the broader implications of the Georgia challenge, how it could also apply to Donald Trump, and the latest on other efforts to challenge the eligibility of insurrection-supporters Rep. Madison Cawthorn (R-NC), Reps. Paul Gosar and Andy Biggs (R-AZ), and AZ State Rep. Mark Finchem, who is running to be Arizona's top election official."
