b"On today's 'BradCast':\\xa0 French President Emmanuel Macron has vowed to rebuild the iconic, Notre Dame Cathedral. Macron launched a new fund that has already raised $700 million, primarily from France's wealthiest families and corporations. While the largesse of the wealthy is appreciated, their ability to suddenly give away nearly a billion in cash underscores deep economic inequality in France and elsewhere. Why didn't TOTAL cover the $4.2 billion tax instead of the citizenry, when the company could have paid the entire thing and still walked away with $10 billion in profits to spare? Also today: Democratic Presidential hopeful Sen. Elizabeth Warren has announced she will place a moratorium on all new fossil fuel leases, if elected. The Washington State legislature and Democratic Presidential candidate Gov. Jay Inslee have enacted a goal of 100% carbon-free electricity by 2045, and adopted a "public option" healthcare insurance scheme. Fox News anchors in a town hall broadcast were stunned when the crowd went wild for Sen. Bernie Sanders' Medicare-for-All universal coverage proposal. More heartbreak from Trump's unspeakably cruel immigration policies: ICE has deported the widower of a U.S. military veteran killed in Afghanistan, leaving their 12-year-old US citizen daughter parentless in Phoenix, and ICE is also trying to deport an 11-year old girl back to El Salvador alone, without her family. Houston's Police Chief Art Acevedo bravely condemns the Administration's monstrous family separation policies. Plus Desi Doyen has the latest 'Green News Report,' on the weekend swarm of deadly tornadoes, Trump's new Interior Secretary already facing ethics probes, and more..."
