b"We're joined today by the great Heather \\u2018Digby' Parton of Salon and Digby's Hullabaloo blog, to try and make sense of all the news that has erupted over the last few days, from FBI raids on the office and residences of President Trump's personal attorney, Michael Cohen, to Trump's lashing out by calling the court-approved searches "disgraceful" and "an attack on our country" on Monday evening. On Tuesday, longtime White House Homeland Security Advisor, Tom Bossert, was abruptly fired after Trump's new and extraordinarily hawkish National Security Advisor John Bolton's first day on the job. Bossert's dismissal came after he had argued in favor of Trump's recent position on Syria over the weekend, in opposition to increased U.S. military action there, but Trump now appears to be readying military action against the sovereign nation following a recent chemical attack in the Syrian town of Douma, even without authorization from Congress. Such action would likely, at a minimum, mirror a similar attack on Syria by Trump last year, lauded by both Congressional Republicans and Democrats, even though Republicans had threatened President Obama with impeachment when he considered doing the same thing.\\xa0 Plus Desi Doyen has the latest 'Green News Report', on the growing scandals involving EPA Administrator Scott Pruitt, good news for pipeline protesters in Canada, but more bad water news for Michigan..."
