b"Today we cover the chaos on Capitol Hill as the GOP House Leadership and Donald Trump scramble, horse trade (and fail) to keep their promise of voting to repeal and replace the Affordable Care Act ('ObamaCare') today, the 7th Anniversary of the signing of Obama's landmark health care insurance law. At the same time, a new poll finds the GOP scheme to replace it is wildly unpopular with American voters, including many Republicans. As that mess was playing out on the House side, the Democratic minority leader in the Senate announced he would be voting against the confirmation of Judge Neil Gorsuch, the President's nominee to fill the GOP's stolen seat on the U.S. Supreme Court. Some Democrats, however, are reportedly hoping to make a deal with Republicans to support Gorsuch in exchange for not doing away with the right to filibuster SCOTUS nominees in the future. Despite all of that Capitol chaos, Trump's push for the completion of two new massive oil pipelines moves ahead apace. The Dakota Access Pipeline is set to start sending crude from North Dakota to Illinois any day now. But the controversial KeystoneXL pipeline, slated to send dirty tar sands oil from Canada to the Gulf of Mexico for export, may run into a number of unforeseen problems.
