b"On today's 'BradCast': A noteworthy correction from ProPublica to an article they published last year does not change the fact that Donald Trump's nominee to become the next Director of the Central Intelligence Agency personally oversaw the torture of U.S. held prisoners at a secret prison ("black site") in Thailand in 2002, and destroyed evidence documenting torture.\\xa0 ProPublica is standing by their reporting that current Deputy CIA Director Gina Haspel ran the prison in question during the torture of terror suspect Abd al-Rahim al-Nashiri, and developed the method for permanently destroying the videotaped evidence of torture. Torture is illegal under U.S. and international law, and now European prosecutors are reportedly investigating whether Haspel must be arrested for war crimes if she travels to Europe. Haspel's nomination has returned U.S. torture to an issue of "debate" under this President.
