b"On today's 'BradCast':\\xa0 The U.S. hit the grim milestone of 500,000 confirmed deaths due to COVID-19, the disease which our failed former president had told us a year ago would simply 'disappear like magic' in spring. Donald Trump is finally out of options for hiding his tax returns -- the U.S. Supreme Court on Monday denied Trump's final appeal, meaning investigations in New York State and Manhattan can move forward into Trump's hush money payments to Stormy Daniels, and other allegedly fraudulent tax and loan schemes. Dominion Voting Systems is suing MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell for defamation, seeking $1.7 billion dollars - the latest attempt to ensure accountability for the suckers who promoted Trump's Big Lie that the 2020 Presidential election was stolen.\\xa0 Texas is finally thawing out from a massive winter storm that knocked out power and water to millions, thanks to the Lone Star State's deregulated, privatized system that allowed utility companies to avoid winterizing. And, as is too often the case in such disasters, communities of color and the poor pay the biggest price -- they were hit the hardest, and will have the most difficulty recovering. DR. ROBERT BULLARD, Distinguished Professor at Texas Southern University, the 'father of environmental justice,' explains the cascading consequences of decades of policies that have resulted in disproportionate impacts on minority communities from pollution, natural disasters and climate change. Also today:\\xa0 Joe Biden's Attorney General-designate Merrick Garland cited 'communities of color and other minorities [who do not have equal justice and] bear the brunt caused by pandemic, pollution and climate change,' during his Senate confirmation hearing on Monday."
