But Sanders now faces a new and different set of challenges in the race to win the nomination in a very crowded and already-progressive field of candidates. North Carolina's new State Board of Elections began their public inquiry into the Republican absentee ballot fraud scheme in the state's 9th Congressional District race last November.\\xa0 NC's Elections Director Kim Strach charged this week that GOP operative McCrae Dowless, a contractor, ran a "coordinated, unlawful and substantially resourced absentee ballot scheme" in two counties that netted enough ballots to influence the results of the election. Dowless' scheme, allegedly included illegally collecting and modifying absentee ballots, paying workers to harvest those ballots, falsifying witness signatures and more. The state GOP is still backing Harris, but national Republicans have remained silent about the coordinated election fraud conspiracy after years of false claims about voter fraud. NC state investigators reported to Trump's Dept. of Justice that Dowless ran a similar absentee ballot fraud scheme in 2016, but shamefully, the Trump-appointed U.S. Attorney in the state ignored them and chose instead to prosecute a handful of alleged non-citizen voters instead of the blatant fraud conspiracy that appears to have stolen an entire election in 2018.\\xa0 Plus Desi Doyen has the latest \\u2018Green News Report'!
