b"On today's 'BradCast':\\xa0 The fallout continues to grow from Donald Trump's instigation of an attempted insurrection at the nation's Capitol, and his attempt to steal the 2020 Presidential election has officially failed. After the Capitol building was cleared, Congress members (including a slightly chastened GOP) overnight affirmed Biden's 'landslide' Electoral College victory. Early Thursday morning, Sen. Cory Booker (D-NJ) and Sen. Mitt Romney (R-UT) delivered outstanding speeches on the tragic divisions in the nation and the violence unleashed by this lawless president. Despite the attempted coup, seven Republican senators and 138 GOP House Members nonetheless voted to nullify the votes of millions of Americans, and they should live in infamy and shame, including Senators Cruz (TX), Hawley (MO), Lummis (WY), Marshall (KS), Scott (FL), Tuberville (AL) and Hyde-Smith (MS). The MAGA Mob riots failed, serving no purpose other than to kill several Trump supporters and injure more than a dozen Capitol police. Both Twitter and Facebook have blocked Trump from using his accounts to foment more violence. Eight White House staff members and a cabinet member, Transportation Secretary Elaine Chao, have resigned. Incoming presumptive Senate Majority Chuck Schumer and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi called on Vice President Mike Pence and Trump's remaining cabinet members to invoke the 25th Amendment to remove Trump from office immediately for 'willfully inciting violence against the government of the United States', and warned that impeachment proceedings are possible. President-Elect Joe Biden noted the white, rightwing MAGA Mob rioters would have been treated very differently if they had been Black Lives Matter protesters.
