'BradCast' 1/31/2017: (Trump's 'Monday Night Massacre', Dems' Tuesday 'Resistance')

b"The fallout and chaos continues after Donald Trump's reckless Executive Order banning travel from seven majority-Muslim countries and his firing of the Acting U.S. Attorney General Sally Yates, who refused to enforce it after saying she was 'unconvinced' that the order was lawful. The White House described her act of conscience as a 'betrayal,' and shortly thereafter, another top official was also replaced at the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency. It's being called the 'Monday Night Massacre' by some, for its echoes of Richard Nixon's infamous 'Saturday Night Massacre' in 1973 at the height of the Watergate Scandal. Turmoil and despair is also being reported at a number of other federal agencies today, but Democrats appear to be finding a partial spine and have boycotted a Senate Committee to delay votes on Trump's nominees to head up the Treasury Department and Health and Human Services, due to alleged financial improprieties by both men. In the meantime, Speaker Paul Ryan and the House GOP remains 100 percent all-in with Trump, as are most Senate Republicans. Also: luckily, the alleged mass shooter at a mosque over the weekend in Quebec City -- where six were killed and 19 others wounded -- turns out to have been a white nationalist, as opposed to a Muslim terrorist. Therefore, as with deadly climate change, Trump, Republicans and the corporate media can largely ignore it."
