'BradCast' 12/7/2016: ('Unrecountable' in MI, denial in Philly, and more Recount 2016 concerns with Election Integrity expert Paul Lehto)

b"Our 'Recount' 2016 coverage continues. We detail conflicting federal and state court rulings in Green Party candidate Jill Stein's fight to continue Presidential election hand-counts in Michigan, where hundreds of precincts across the state are being declared 'unrecountable' by state officials -- for often absurd reasons. Another court ruling comes down today against Stein's suit for forensic analyses of unverifiable touch-screen voting systems in Philadelphia, prompting Stein to promise a new filing in state court. And the counting in Wisconsin continues, despite efforts by Team Trump to stop counting and oversight immediately in all three states. We're joined by author, former election attorney and election integrity expert Paul Lehto to discuss all of that and more, including how extraordinary legal challenges in three states, and at least six courts, to stop or block vote counting is an invitation for future fraud. He argues we must 'get it right on election night' by publicly counting paper ballots at the precinct, and that post-election counts or audits have proven to be unreliable or impossible. He warns, as he has for years, that more such situations -- and worse -- are likely to continue undermining democracy and confidence in it by the electorate. Also today: Trump will reportedly nominate Oklahoma Attorney General Scott Pruitt -- a climate change denier and long-time friend of the fossil-fuel industry -- to head up the Environmental Protection Agency."
