b"On today's 'BradCast':\\xa0 In the closing hours of the nightmarish hellscape that is Election Day 2020, voters encountered problems around the country, thanks to failure-prone computerized voting systems in battleground states such as Georgia, Pennsylvania, Ohio and Texas.\\xa0 Perhaps because so many voters had already voted during Early Voting or by mail-in ballot, there were far fewer problem reports today than in recent presidential elections \\u2013 at least as of airtime. But in places where there were major voting system failures that prevented voters from voting, in nearly every case the problems were related to the failure of electronic pollbooks made by a company named KnowInk. In Georgia, a countywide failure of the e-pollbooks prevented voters in Spalding County from voting at all, for hours, until the systems were replaced, because the Republican Sec. of State failed to follow a federal court order to ensure backup paper pollbooks were in place at every polling location. Similar problems with e-pollbooks plagued Ohio voters, but counties there had backup paper pollbooks on hand. In Texas, the same failing electronic pollbooks prevented voters in at least one county from voting for several hours, as well.\\xa0 Also in Texas, the far-right 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals rejected a Republican lawsuit to toss out more than 127,000 ballots that were lawfully cast at drive-thru voting sites in Harris County (Houston), but the case may be headed to the GOP's stolen US Supreme Court.
