No, inflation is not the disaster that Republicans are pretending it is for political gain. One Republican senator admitted as much when he described Americans suffering from inflation and high gas prices as a political 'gold mine' for the GOP.\\xa0 The corporate media is also hyping 'inflation panic' while failing to inform the public about historic, positive economic news, including recent statistics showing unemployment in the U.S. is the lowest since 1969. The media is also freaking out about emerging new COVID variant, Omicron, but health officials say there's not enough information yet known about its implications -- so they recommend getting vaccinated or getting a booster, and wearing a mask when indoors in public places.\\xa0 Pfizer and Moderna are working to update their mRNA vaccines to handle the Omicron variant. Rising geopolitical tensions in both the South China Sea and Ukraine are of increasing concern.
